The main advantage of the Compact® is its limited height, which renders this mat ideal for installation on the floor, preferably in a rubber frame. Because of its limited height, the Compact® usually has the same thickness as the tiles, carpet or parquet and is therefore easy to install without having to cut away the underlying layer.

The mat is made to size in the factory. In principle, it is made in one piece, but in case of larger surfaces, it is advisable to divide this mat into several sections. When making the mat, the dimensions of the sections are determined by the weight of each section. The layout and the arrangement of the different sections is determined in consultation with the manufacturer. In case of broad surfaces, the sections are placed next to one another and separated by a reversed T-shaped profile. The width of the mats is determined on the basis of aesthetic considerations and required functionality.

              MAINTENANCE

  • Coarse, sticky or wet dirt remaining on the mat is removed using a hard scrubbing brush in combination with water and a universal detergent.

  • Vacuum the matwell and the mat thoroughly.
  • Clean the mat with a hard scrubbing brush, in combination with water and a universal detergent.
  • Let the mat dry during a few hours before placing it back in the matwell.
